I am purchasing a 99 Suburban and have been offered to extend the GM bumper to bumper warranty. It is $1800 to extend it another 2 years and to 60,000 miles. It currently has 28,000 miles.
Do you think I am likely to encounter that much in repairs in the next two years? I know its really just a gamble, but I'd like to hear from anyone who's had expensive repairs. Should I pay, or gamble?
I also could take it to 3 more years and 75,000 miles for, I think, $2800. At what mileage to things start falling apart?
