Hello, I am looking for a quick education, i've searched the archives but haven't found enuf info,
this is our first winter with the suburban and I am pretty inexperienced with using 4wd, could I get a quick lesson in using it??, we are expecting a bit of snow, and I have to go to work, I hate driving when the roads are a bit messy, I have found that when I drove the truck the last time the roads were snowy I fishtailed more than I liked , hubby says it was my driving : ( !!
can I shift into 4wd while moving?? at what speed should I be driving, and what didtance is safe to use it, I have to drive 20 miles to work, mainly highway. but my concern is back roads leading to highway.
How is gas mileage affected by using it.and is there any trick to getting out of 4wd, such as reversing?
