I bought a gov't surplus 1993 K2500 Suburban. Works great. However, we are having quite a snowy winter, and it surely does not seem to have a locker in the rear end, because it will sometimes spin one rear and one front wheel in snow in 4WD. Is it difficult to install a locker? Would the dealer be the best choice, or is this a several-hour install for the shade-tree mechanic? Guesses at the price?
