I'm looking for new wheels and tires for the new burb. '02 LS 4x4 1/2 ton.
The size tire I'm planning on is 285/75R16. The old '93 had those in a BFG AT, which I was pretty happy with. Looking on tirerack.com, I found that the Yokohama Geolandar A/T Plus II is much more affordable and the reviews of it are pretty positive.
Any input about how the tires compare? It's used 99% as family bus, but the 1% of use that we head off road (mainly deep sand at the beach or deep untracked snow up in the mountains), it's important to me to have good performance. The BFGs where great, especially when aired down.
