Axel & ManualTransfer case fluids questions

99 K2500 7.4L 4WD 85K miles G80 rear diff 3.73
I'm getting ready to change these fluids.

My owners manual doesn't list capacities for these items is there a published link for all the fluids somewhere?

I'm planning on using the following but I have some questions.

Mobil 1 syn for the front

Owners Manual says Dexron III for manual tranfer case. I thought I'd use Mobil 1 ATF

My rear is a locker and it calls for GM #1052271. What is this stuff? Can I use the synthetic here as well and if so which grade?

Power steering calls for GM#1050017 what is this stuff and what can I use as a substitute?

  - Looks okay, but check the pipe paste...some have sand as filler, prefer Teflon tape myself...also ask for the empty bottles to drain to last drop n/t Ben 19:04:29 3/09/04 (0)
