Smitty just did his so he knows better than I. From what I recall, the case diameter is larger so you need a little longer belt. Also a connector conversion pigtail for a couple bucks. There's a rear bracket that can be added for extra strength. Relocate a heater hose?
CS-144 ought to operate cooler and stand a better chance of lasting IMHO.

The CS-144 (RPO 8A5) is indeed P/N: 10480133 - This is the one you want
and NOT the megafuse version of the CS-144...
The rear braclet/brace is indeed P/N: 10237271.
The heater tube is indeed P/N: 15727640.
The belt WAS P/N: 10225865 but GM changed the numbering system AGAIN and
it is now P/N 12564764. It's also Gates P/N: K060966, or as mentioned by
JR, Goodyear P/N: 4060967...
But here's what is different than JR96CK's list... I'm not sure why JR
only had one bolt for the new rear bracket, but I do know for the 97-98
L31, you'll need two different bolts for the rear bracket: P/N 11515767
and 11516360. The P/N JR mentioned is also on the old numbering system so
I can't cross-reference it readily tonight - I'd have to pull out my
microfiche parts catalogs and I'm not that ambitious tonight... Anyway, no
matter what, memory serves that two bolts of two different sizes are
needed, but I can't remember if one from the CS-130 can be re-used rather
than buying two new bolts..."
