Have a new 16psi cap, thought about that after reading a previous post. I will try and get the new Hayden SD clutch and stewart Stage 1 and see if it makes a difference.

Thanks,

Bud

: I've got the same engine. Cooling mods are green AF 50/50, 180 NAPA stat, Stewart Stage 1 water pump, Hayden SD fan clutch.

: When sitting in traffic and over 80F, AC on, mine will creep up to the 210F line and then the aux fan kicks on. It just stays at 210. Once I start moving, the fan clutch has fully engaged and it roars like a C130. Drops back down in 30 seconds or less.

: As long as it's not over 210, think it's OK.

: Suggest the Hayden clutch fan and maybe a new rad cap to make sure it has full pressure.

: Hayden SD fan clutch 2784
: Stant rad cap 10331 w/lever
: Stewart S1 Pump 11123
: bypass hose Goodyear 63394
: OEM Aux Fan 15717423
: Upper Hose gates 21706
: Lower Hose gates 21717

: Your engine should increase the idle speed if the ECM thinks the coolant is too hot. STD ECM logic. Does same if it sees too low of battery Voltage.
