Won't Start After Sitting for Just Two Days

Having a weird electrical problem. AC Delco battery about one year old & the sight glass stills shows green. Had this same problem with the previous battery, traded batteries in my wife car to see if that was the problem.

It’ll start every day unless it sits over the weekend. For the last several weeks, have tried a number of different ways to test this. If I park it Friday night after work and don’t use it again until Monday morning, no go, requires the battery charger before it starts.

It will start after one day of sitting, but not after two days. Tested the battery with my multi meter and saw 12.1 volts on this morning, but the starter would not turn over, just engaged and kinda grunted, then stopped.

Last week, checked the draw on the battery, getting .18 to .22 volts of draw with the key off, doors closed, under hood light removed and all lights out. Cables are snug on the battery terminals, using a torque reduction starter as the big style went south on me last summer and would only work when cool.

Did a load test on the battery, and although this test isn’t conclusive, it passed as good.
