Talk about frustrating. Not sure if it's my 2001 wheels or what, but the ABS cable retainers push the cable right into the passenger side wheel at full CCW lock. I hammered the retainer for more clearance, but it still rubs. Driver's side barely clears.
Taped up the sanded cable jacket, found a piece of 1/4" ID rubber hose and slit it to make a jacket. Then wrapped all with that self coiling plastic spiral wire protector stuff. Armored other side too.
Watch out for this whenever you pay attention to the front brakes.
