Lost (had it stolen) my Makita screw gun last week. Left it outside to go inside and take care of parents. No more than 10 minutes. Was fixing something on their front porch. Sweetie's favorite, $50 buck, pruners were next to it and also gone.
Picture is of the new Makita screw gun. Got a great deal, as this is discontinued for the new higher voltage (think they did that to force many to buy new). My investment and familie's investment is with the 9.6V system, so wanted to stick with it till really "have to" change over.
Found local hardware store still have their demo unit chained to the display rack, but the price tag and spec sheet gone. They had sold their last one and this demo unit was going to go to the "table sale" that they have a few times a year. Usually has the stuff dropped and messed up by all of the traffic.
Asked the manager how much right now...and he said $15 bucks!!!
Picture is of it just after tie wraping a small nylon bag to the handle. Sewed a Nagahide sleave to hold the driver extension. Also holds assorted bits in small plastic bages. Not shown is the 1/4" drive socket set (6 sockets and hex-square drive shaft). All fits inside the pouch.
