I am continuing my vibration hunt. Took the driveshaft off last night so I could get a measurement for a new 1 piece aluminum DS. Had talked earlier in the week to a guy at Inland Empire and he told me to look for wear on the pinion yoke. Said that the ears on the yoke should be there to help hold u-joints. Upon removal I see that mine is smooth as butta, no ears.
I am headed to the dealer now to p/u a new pinion yoke and will have rearend shop replace. Then if I still have vibes, its gonna' be a new one piece aluminum DS.
Arkansawyer, figures he's put so much money into it, why stop now?
