Grounding of any control or diag circuit should look like a wagon wheel and/or long daisy chain.

This uses the wagon wheel and why all grounds come from central point....the ECM.

If there isn't, then ****INSIDE**** the ECM's grounding circuit is the problem. It's opened (broken line/connection).

Or the other side of the circuit, the source power (12 VDC).
