Headliner in 1986 Pontiac separated from it's padding and began sagging. Fixed it with ordinary desktop stapler. Low cost fix and headliner still in place after 3 years.

: The whole interior liner of my '91 is falling off of the padding. The padding itself is also disintegrating. I have tried spray adhesive to no avail. Is the replacement of this stuff really the nightmere I have heard it was?
