Do any remotes work with the receiver? You may have a blown fuse on the circuit.

The remote for my '99 has a lock button, an unlock button, and a '2X' button to unlock the rear cargo doors.

: Hi all,

: Through much help from members here, I have tried unsucessfully to re-program the remote for my '99 K1500 SLE GMC Sub.

: What I have done:

: I have been able to successfully short out the pins on the OBD2 connector and the locks will cycle. I then press and hold both the lock and unlock buttons on the transmitter at the same time and hold forever...No matter how long, it won't cause the locks to cycle, as the procedure specifies.

: So, some thoughts/?'s that perhaps someone can offer insight to:

: 1) What should the battery voltage be? I measure ~3V with my meter.
: 2) Is keyless remote standard on the '99 SLE? I bought this vehicle used recently, and they gave me a remote that they never used, but were pretty sure it went with this vehicle. I did call the dealer and the parts guy looked up the number I had on my remote, 16245100-29, and said it was the right PN for my model year.

: Any other thoughts, ideas, suggestions?

: Thanks,
: Adam
