I have a 97, bought it without the remote, called dealer got right part #, ordered one on ebay, while waiting for it to arrive, I tested out programming by using my keyfob from my wifes 96 Saturn,(even though it has diff. fcc & part #s on them) guess what it worked!, so now it opens/locks both vehicles!. New keyfob is setting on my desk....
Oh well got a spare...
see if you can find diff. units to tryout. (you can always erase the old ones!)
