Are you thinking of any SUV or specifically a Suburban? Unless you have a need for a large vehicle, you might be better off with a smaller body size, for no other reason than to get your friends off your back.
I'll bet you this, though. If you get a Sub, no matter how much they tell you to get a car, guess who's gonna be tagged to drive when everybody needs a lift someplace?

: I'm thinking about getting an SUV but with all the recent attacks on how they are polluting, wasteful, and stupid, I'm starting to wonder how this will impact resale values down the road. Given that I would only be using it for running errands, should I re-consider and purchase a car instead? Many of my friends have been encouraging me to get a car instead.
