Is there already a good discussion thread here about catalytic converter replacements? I would like to do a little research before I buy one. Are they all pretty much the same, or is there an advantage to one over another? Hi-flow versus stock? How do aftermarket cats compare to factory? I am in Calif, so above all it needs to work well enough to pass strict smog checks. My Suburban is 1995 1500 4x4 with 5.7L engine.
