I thought this was America! Since when did it become politically correct for someone to decide what another person needs in a vehicle? Does not everyone have the right to buy what ever car, truck, SUV or other tool or toy just because that's what they are turned on by?
Just because most forum participants utilize their SUV as a work horse or mass people hauler somewhere between 100% and 1% of the time and they've justified their ownership in their own minds... DOES NOT give you, me or anyone else any right to criticize others just because we don't "see" their justification!
I work hard and therefore I can... and do choose to play hard! I deem my life to be worth the cheap insurance of driving a bigger vehicle that uses a bit more gas regardless of whether I ever haul more than 100 pounds in my vehicle. That's my justification and whether or not anyone chooses to think otherwise, it's my right and my choice. I respect your choice and justifiction and ask only that we all do the same of others.
