Got email asking HOW2 load grease in the slide tube cavity of caliper.
Most hard ware stored now carry plastic syringes. Holds couple oz's of stuff.
Get tub of high temp disc grease with either/or both moly & Teflon additive.
Dump the grease into a baggie. Close it off after squeezing out all air. Cut off bottom corner. VERY small corner, as the size of the hole should be small. Like you'd do to decorate a cake with frosting (yea, I bake too...but not well).
Pull the plunger out of the syringe.
Fill the syringe tube making sure there are not air bubbles. If there is on, make sure it's on the needle end.
Put the plunger back in making sure there is very little air at that end.
Usage:
Remove old O-Rings. Install new O-Rings (not easy, but use wooden dowel about same size as the bore) into caliper groves. Coat slide tube with grease. Insert into caliper bore past ONE O-Ring. Push in till about 1/2 inch from other O-ring and push slide tube to one side. At the other end, the slide tube will be off center, and is where you want to deposit this high temp disc brake grease. Not much is needed. Push slide tube to other side, repeat greasing. Ditto, but 90*. Ditto but 180*. Now push slide tube through other O-Ring, wipe excess grease off and it's ready to install on steering knuckle.
