: Will, my 91 had a similiar problem with air flow. I found my problem was a very small and brittle, plastic connector located on the actuating rod, atop the heater box (passenger side, under dash).
: This little plastic piece clamped onto the actuating rod, which in turn, operated the heater box door, which directed the air flow to change between floor,defrost and vent. It had broken in two and no longer moved the door.
