Just to inform you guys. I work at a Chevrolet/Oldsmobile/Cadillac dealership in Wisconsin. We are the largest in the state and 44th largest in the nation. And the first thing I do in morning when I get to work is check out this forum from the computer that is setup in my area. Don't have a lot of time to post messages, but I do try to read most of them. I do most of posting from home. Cause the first thing i do when i get home is check the board again. Actually this board has helped me fix some Burbans, Tahoes, and Pickups at work. Thanks for all the help and keep the posts coming. And if you ever need wiring diagrams, parts at discount, or just have a question don't be afraid to email me.

(Yes some technicians do drive vehicles that they work on and not just new ones, either.)

: There are few or no mechanics-by-trade reading the forum. Guess we'll have to keep bringing them printouts whenever our trucks go in for service. Last time we did this I don't recall any either.

: Us Computer Jocks need a break so we go tinker with the trucks and read the forums. The Mechanics need a break after wrenching all day but they apparrently don't go home and get on the Internet forums. Admittedly during the day, it's difficult to folow the BB with greasy hands and no place to put your PC. We need to come up with a voice-interfaced PDA so the "Mr. Goodwrench's" can join in the forum fun. Must be resistant ot coffee spills, cigarette burns, and have a great profanity filter.

: Meanwhile back at GM they're too busy working on the latest generation of computer-generated dot-matrix fake woodgrain plastic finishes to pay us any mind.
