Dont see why not, my neighbor as a 98 3500 extended cab and he put one in his. (it was a factory console out of a suburban). Also if you have cab lights that is a sure way to see if they leak or not---I have a 99 with 4k on it and I had water pouring in last weekend from the overhead console-it seems 3 out of the 5 light lenses were cracked--o well back to the dealer!
