The TSB number is 76-30-01. The total bill was about $1,100 (extended warranty company paid for a new GM unit after a little persuasion). A new steering gear from GM retails for about $900 or so. A rebuilt unit retails for about $450. E-mail me if you need me to send you a copy of the TSB.
