The return from the hydroboost only has fluid flow during a brake pedal cycle and only about 1oz - 2 oz flow.
The stuff that was in that section of the system did not get flushed if you just used the power steering return. It will flush during normal driving and brake pedal cycling.
It alway amazes me how dirty it is even with my every 2 year flushing with Valvoline Synthetic. Wonder what it looks like for those who let it go many more years, or have found many don't even know to flush and it's 5yr-7yr-10yrs plus old stuff in there.
