AC sys, how much freon does it hold?

This may have been touched on before, but..
73 2wd 454 Sub, only has front AC. after the system has been vacuumed and checked for leaks, how much freon does it hold?
I know all about the R134 conversion kits, but I got my hand on some R12 and I want to charge up the AC.
