I have a '91 Burb with a tilt wheel. The steering wheel has started to loosen at the tilt mechanism. It's gotten really severe to where the thing is getting scary. The factory service manual has a pretty good writeup, so disassembly is not a huge problem, except I can't get the doggone wires for the turn signals and the wipers out through the steering column. So has anyone had the problem and repaired it? What was the cost? Is there a repair kit? How do you get the doggone wires through the column?
