This problem has existed for some time. My 95 Tahoe with 72k has allways seemed to wander or pull. Currently it pulls to the right when you let go of the wheel, and to keep the truck straight on the road I have to keep pressure to the left on the wheel. I have had it aligned several times by the dealer and they told me its fine and the only thing they would do next is replace the steering box but that is a last resort, cause its big bucks! No changes in the problem pre and post replacement of all front end bushings with poly as well as all ball joints, and tire rotation has no effect either. I asked a mechanic friend how to check steering components and he said to check by hand for any play, and I did not note any. Any and all insight greatly appreciated!
