My favorite thing to do with the Sub that requires 4wd is to travel across a sand duned trail. Really. It's like floating across snow drifts. Almost like a boat travelling through ocean swells where the bow lifts over a crest. As the bow drops in the swell, you apply power, steer around obstacles, and crest over the next dune. Fun.
Rock'n is risky and invokes more of a challenge to keep all of your body panels in one straight piece. I've done my share of that too. Right now, I've decided not to thrash on the truck as much. Maintenance time and labor tend to rise too sharply. Need to save the cash for gas.
