A/C question... I had my a/c service. A long story why, will tell if needed Anyways..They told me after they vac'd it, and put new freon in 3.15lbs in the suburban (front and rear air). The dealer tech said that no oil was needed. Is this correct? The compressor was replaced in Jan'01 and they put 8oz in there at that time. I did see them do it too. Can someone explain why no oil was needed or was there???
FOOTNOTE: freon is the 134a (they put the new one in)
