I doubt she boosted with 24 volts. Her tow truck probably had two, 12-volt batteries hooked up in parallel. If she truly did boost in 24 volts, I'd be most concerned about the possible damage to the vehicle's electronics. If practical, go to the towing place and find out exactly what the tow truck was equipped with.
