From purely a torque point of view, the 454TBI has 385 ft-lbs vs 410 peak for Vortec. You get an increase of 6.5% at the peak, albeit the peak RPMs are different.
On the gears, you lose 3.73/4.10 = .91 or 9% loss.
So it's going to be close, although the Vortec has a better, flatter torque curve than the TBI.
Good newsis the aluminum wheels will fit!
