Exit 5, she's on Saco Bay. Mom's 88 now and the family has been making sure somebody is there all Summer so she doesn't drive the Buick too much! We will bring her back in September and rent the cottage for the winter.
I'm doomed for traffic this year as I have to go on Saturday - too much work - and have to bring Neice to airport Sunday. Best I can do is a mid-afternoon arrival and drop off boat at the Saco River. Marina is having their BBQ and it's going to be a pain to back the trailer around all the cars / trucks, but neighbors are up this year and I won't have room to turn the trailer at Mom's house. Probably drop the family off and go back for a Hamburger / Beer and catch up on the news!
I'll hit traffic at the Tappen Zee and 84 will be full but move. 495 will be the next bottle neck and I expect bumper to bumper there, then of couse the normal saturday backup on the Maine Turnpike as the weekly renters come in, also expect bumper to bumper. Sound about right?
