In the process of developing my own terminals as well as looking at commercial ones as pictured, I see it is common to end up with multiple metals. Anyone have advice on what combinations to avoid?
The pictured terminal uses stainless thru lead with a brass nut and washer.
I have some gold terminals that use a stainless bolt with a bronze lock washer. I have yet to be able to find brass 5/16" bolts in 3/4" and 1" lengths around here. Maybe they'd be too weak.
I'd hate to go to all this trouble and find there are corrosion problems that could be engineered out now.
