We are looking at the new Sub/Yukon XL. We have a boat that we would like to trailer once in a while on trips with other boaters in the summer. I will drive this as an everyday vehicle. Our boat weights 6500lbs.without trailer. Has anyone in this forum towed a boat with a 2000 -Sub1500/Yukon XL with this amount of weight (avg. 8000lbs total)? If so, what would you have done different if anything? Would the 2 wheel drive do the trick on the ramps? etc.
BTW: we discussed trying to stay with 3.37 rear vs. 4.10 since trailering will be minimal.
