I have a 94 Suburban 1500 (GMC), 3.42 trans, tow package, engine oil cooler, 2x4. The hitch has "4000 (dead weight) and 10,000 (distributed)" written on it. The manual says I can tow 6800 GWT. We are looking at some boats/trailers that are in the 5000-5500 range.... Thank you.
