Bought my first "real" vehicle a couple of months ago -- '00 Suburban, lt pewter, love it. I have about 5k miles and am ready to do my first oil change (hard to wait since I'm used to 3k/change on the cars, but following owner's manual orders). Question -- what do I need to be doing? I think I'm switching to synth oil, based on what I'm reading here, but I guess I need to wait a while? Also, I've read about changing the rear diff oil, but not sure I need to since I haven't used 4wd yet. Any other "must-do's" for a new SUV owner? Getting ready for long drive on vacation, and want this truck to LAST!
