: Mookie: On my 90 blazer the lock switch would not work. I was not aware
: of the problem because I always used the alarm's keyless entry feature.

: It's real easy to swap, just remove the inner door panel, remove the electrical
: connector and the switch itself is held in by a couple of spring-metal clips
: on each side.

: BUT: Try spraying a bunch of WD-40 into the switch and move it back and forth a
: few dozen times. In my case it worked after I did that.

Mark,

Thanks for the tip, I'll try that before I buy a new switch.

: : 90 3/4 ton 4x4 Suburban with power door locks. The electric switch on the drivers door that locks all the doors needs replaced. I haven't pulled it off, how tough is it to replace? Is there some place on the web to buy one that would be cheaper than the dealer? I looked at carparts.com and wrenchhead.com but didn't see one, but then again, they don't give much of a description.
: : Thanks in advance for any help.
