OK - I'm soliciting opinions on my maintenance plan...

I've got a '99 K2500 w/ 454 and 3.73 axle. It's got 42K miles, and I want it to last forever, or close to it. (The steep increase in mileage was due to a long commute I HAD but no longer had, thanks to a less stressful job with a 25 minute commute rather than the previous 50 minute commute). I've been doing the standard every 3,000 oil & filter change with dino oils, and just recently had the transmission, front & rear diffs, and xfr case fluids changed (book says 50K for transmission servicing, I plan to stick with 30K in the future even though I don't regularly tow.) I rotate tires every other oil change (every 6,000 mi).

I'm considering changing my basic maintenance to the following:

*oil & filter change every 7,500 with Mobil 1 synthetic and Mobil 1 filter.
*Transmission pan drop and filter change every 30,000 (plan to get pan with drain plug)
*Transfer case (auto-trac type), front and rear diff fluid changes every 60,000 (with GM required fluids, which I believe are synthetic...technically book says front diff doesn't REQUIRE GM product, but they RECOMMEND same fluid as rear diff. or equivalent).
*Coolant flush & fill at 100,000 and then every 60,000 after that.
*Spark plug replacements at 100,000 and then every 60,000 after that.

Oh, yeah, and I'm also planning on monitoring my oil with sampling sent to Blackstone -- probably once per oil change.

Thanks in advance for your replies!!
