If cell phones can be linked to fatalities at a rate of 30-1 over Firestone tires as a recent news report indicated, why are we not more concerned about this public safety issue? I find it shocking that a nation so irate about tire safety can overlook the cell-phone-usage-while-driving problem. Why do we sue Firestone over safety issues yet fight government when it wants to enact a safety measure?
Heaven forbid should we have to take personal responsibility for our actions and not have a tire company or anyone else to blame.
