Need to do it *MANY* more times to get it right if it's not been adjusting right.
Try driving a few miles with the parking brake slightly set just like you did for adjusting. If the braking improves or feels significantly better, your rears are WAY out of adjustment and only manually adjusting them will do (it will need about 50-60-70-? clicks of the adjusting star wheel, the reverse self adjustment only moves the starwheel 2-3 clicks).
