With the problem of my Sub heater blow ing cold air at idle I tried as Towbeast recommended. I got the Sub good and hot to where it was blowing hot air through the heater. When I let off the gas in about 30 senconds it's cold air, give it gas and it's hot again in about 15 seconds. Now I put my hand on the hoses going to the heater one was hot to the touch and the other was warm. The hoses stayed the same wether it was cold or hot air blowing. So now as Towbeast & others suggested there is probably a problem with the mixing doors. Do you access these from under the hood or inside where the duct work is? Do I have to remove any of the dash?
BTW even with the 180 thermostat I installed I'm getting very hot air, while giving it gas. Now I haven't tried it in -0 temps yet but I'm sure I will.
