Quick question - u joints.

Hey guys......Just have a quick question. Seems like the universal joints in my '90 1500 2WD suburban are done for (i'm getting that annoying clunk when accelerating from a stop, or increasing speed quickly) checked them out and there seems to be some play in them. My question how hard are these to replace?? Fairly easy do-it yourself job??? If not how much should I expect to pay to get it fixed at a shop???Any help is greatly appreciated.
