How can something so simple be so hard?
My '96 k1500 did not have the factory trailer hitch, so I just purchased a new Hidden Hitch.
Unfortunately it seems that GM decided to box in the frame rails next to the gas tank - making it seemingly impossible to get the frontmost bolt and backing plate into the inside of the frame. Has anyone encountered this and solved it?
The center bolt and plate seem doable, with difficulty.
