I have an appointment next week for a couple minor warranty issues (2nd row doors squeak when opening and rear hatch glass latch not releasing). One more that has come up is a single thump noise when making a right turn. It seems to come through the steering wheel. At first it felt like I just happened to run over a rock when making the turn but there aren't that many rocks at that many corners.
Unfortunately it does not happen every time and trying to make it happen is worthless. Has anyone else had something like this? Is there somewhere I should point out to the dealership to get their attention? Any ideas?
Since I ignored my wife when she first explained it to me, I can only guess the reception I'll get at the dealer. The more I can tell the service writer, the better chance of getting it fixed the first time. Otherwise it sounds like a "wait till it gets worse" scenario.
Ideas?
